Politics Of War
During these times where we are at war, many people have a debate over one thing more than any other. Should we bring back the troops from the middle east or leave them there, making sure the job gets done this time? Has anyone thought this may not be a go or no go situation? Why not reach a middle ground? Why not send 50% of the forces home and leave 50% of the forces in the middle east and then switch them out every 6 months or so. Why do we remain unorganized and aggressive when we should be more understanding?
The answer is that we are human. We search for safety but once we have that we search for luxury and once we have that we search for friends and enemies. Instead of having no strong feelings one way or another we feel that we must stand up for only one side. There is a reason that the Independent party was created. For those who do not vote just because the old men and women of this nation are on the same side, but those who vote based on personal feelings and understanding of all aspects of politics.
Justice is blind but not because it is fair. It is blind because it has been decided by people with common interests and not people with morals. Politics Of War is simply not just old men talking and young men dying anymore. It is people dying because they were told that there is only two sides to every problem and never a compromise.

This is one area where it does not take two. It only takes one side to decide that they are right to perpetrate the outrage of war, and when that happens then the people under attack can chose to either defend themselves and then take the fight to the aggressor; or submit to either slavery or death at the whim of the aggressor. Attempts at dialogue can ameliorate this condition, but they cannot replace it, and will not be able to replace it until all the peoples of earth are free.
